National All or Nothing Day 7/26
If you have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), National All or Nothing Day is a great reminder to take the time to focus on the importance of finding balance in your life. This day, July 26, is a day to celebrate the full spectrum of experiences that come with having ADHD.
ADHD can make life feel like it’s constantly shifting between extremes–either wholly overwhelmed or completely bored. It can be challenging to find the middle ground, leading to feelings of frustration and helplessness. National All or Nothing Day is a reminder that finding balance is possible, even when life is feeling chaotic.
One way to celebrate National All or Nothing Day is to reflect on the areas of your life that could benefit from a more balanced approach. This could include taking small steps to work on tasks that seem overwhelming or taking a break from tasks that may seem impossible and going back tomorrow with a fresh approach. It’s also important to remember that it’s OK to take breaks when needed and that it’s possible to find joy in the moments where we can appreciate both the highs and lows of ADHD.
Ultimately, National All or Nothing Day is a day to recognize that it’s OK to be somewhere in the middle, even when life constantly shifts between extremes. Finding balance can help you feel empowered and in control of your life.
